Back by popular demand.

Learn about the art and history of this traditional Indian art form.

The designs feature beautiful patterns of swirling lines on the hands, feet, and arms and are used for social ritual decoration.

The designs will remain on the skin, from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on how long the henna is allowed to set (normally 2-12 hours).

Permission slips are required to use henna during the event.

Teens without permission slips will not be allowed to participate. Pick up a permission slip at the library or download one here (clicking link will open a PDF file).
