Storytime on Break for the Month of May

Storytime is taking a break for the month of May.

Storytime returns on Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5 at the normal times.

Tuesdays
10 am- Toddler Storytime
11am- Preschool Storytime
Wednesdays
10 am- Preschool Storytime
11am- Family Storytime

Library closed for Memorial Day

and will be closed Sunday, May 26th and Monday, May 27th
for Memorial Day.

No materials are due
on the days we are closed.

Friends of the Library “Found Treasures” Weekly Used Book Store

Thursdays, 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Found Treasures, a bookstore filled with gently read books will be open Thursdays, 4:30pm – 6:30pm and the first Saturday of the month, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the storm shelter.

Summer Reading is Coming!
The Summer Reading Program is for Everyone!
Our Summer Events Calendar will be out mid-May and includes something for every age, infant to adult.
Here are the top 10 reasons why YOU should participate this summer!

10 – All of the cool kids are doing it.
9 – There are a lot of new books to read.
8 – Fun programs for everyone!
7 – Learn something new.
6 – Science experiments with potato chips.
5 – Pirate scavenger hunt.
4 – Meet some underground animals.
3 – Jellyfish in a bottle
2 – Mad Science will be here.

Summer Reading Important Sign Up Dates

Summer Reading is upon us! It is time to sign up!

Summer Reading sign-up begins May 28th at 9:00am.

Summer Reading prizes will be available beginning June 1st.

June Special Programs sign-up is on June 1st at 9:00am. Phone sign-up does not begin until 1:00pm.

First June program is Mad Science:Dig into Reading on Monday, June 3rd at 2:00pm.

July Special Programs sign-up is June 14th at 9:00am.

READ dogs are the perfect reading companions. They are great listeners and love to have books read to them. Come read to a dog or listen to one of the trainers read a story to you.

Sign-up at the library for a 15-minute reading slot.

The READ dogs will be making four visits to the library in June and July,
